

Albert Bud Mack, Sr., 94, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Oct 29, 2011. He was born May 15, 1917 to the late Abraham and Angie Mack of Savannah, Ga., and he attended the old Rose Dhu School in Savannah, Ga. Albert was employed by the Oxnard family for many years until he retired. He was baptized at Historical Nicholsonboro Baptist Church at an early age. He later became a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was married to the late Edith McPherson Mack for fifty nine years. Mr. Mack was preceded in death by 2 sons, Albert Mack, Jr., and Randy Mack; 3 brothers, David Mack, Sr., Abraham Mack and Eugene Mack and 1 sister, Martha Mack Pelote. Survivors: two sons, Gerald Hood of Atlanta, Ga, Pastor Ted C. Scott (Luzennia) of West Palm Beach, Fla; one daughter, Barbara Johnson (Eugene) of Savannah, Ga; two sisters, Viola Middleton and Frances Mack both of Savannah, Ga; 16 grandchildren, several great grands, several great, great grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. Albert Mack also leaves to mourn two loving caretakers, Donald Mack (grandson) and Kecia Johnson (granddaughter). Visitation: 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fairhaven Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Homegoing Service: 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1008 Martin Luther King Blvd, Savannah, Ga, with Pastor Michael S. Stamps, Sr., delivering the Eulogy. Interment: Cedar Grove Cemetery, at Coffee Bluff. Repast: Mount Hermon Baptist Church - Fellowship Hall, 13813 Coffee Bluff Road, Savannah, Ga 31419.
