Allen Lee Pierce

Mr. Allen Pierce, 65, of Savannah passed away Monday, February 06, 2012 surrounded by his family. He served our country in the Army and fought during the Vietnam War. He had a love for all sports including the local high school teams and college football. He loved throwing darts and was a member of S.A.D.A with his son, Steven.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Winton and Annie Laura Pierce

He is survived by his girlfriend, Charlene Shortall; one son, Steven Pierce (Linda Dee); three daughters, Judy Pierce Taylor (Rueben) of Rock Island, TX, Dawn Pierce Harriot (Scott) of Hampton, S.C., and his pride and joy which was his red nose pit, Weisa; two brothers, Cecil and Rusty Pierce; and four grandchildren, Laura, Alyssa, Joshua, and Jacob.

Officiating: James Lamb of Holy Church of God in Brunswick

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel with Burial Services at Bonaventure Cemetery on Thursday at 2 pm.
