George Eugene Day

George was a world War II Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years.

He was a retired builder and Hardware Store owner. He resided in Florida for 30 years before moving to Savannah, GA.

He was predeceased by his wife Jane Day and his sister Florena Kaetzel.

He is survived by one son, Walter Day (Brenda) of Savannah, Ga.; two nephews, Eugene Bear of Fredricksburg, VA. and Gary Bear of Blairsville, GA. and special friend Helen Sanders of Deltona, Florida.

The family would like to thank Hospice Savannah, Inc, Buckingham South and Riverview Health Rehab for their kindness and helpfulness.

A memorial Service will be held in Wolfsville, Maryland at a later date.
