Jerry Lee Phillips

Jerry was born and raised in Savannah, Ga. He graduated from Groves High School – Class of 1969. He was of the Baptist faith.

His father, Robert Phillips, his mother, Edna Phillips Rossignol, his stepfather, Charles Rossignol and his brother, William Gerald Phillips, preceded him in death.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Jerry shared a love for truck driving. He drove for various trucking companies in and around Savannah for over 25 years. Jerry really enjoyed meeting with new and old friends, having a cup or two of coffee, laughing and talking about the good old days. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Left behind to share his memories are his brother, Robert Phillips, Jr., (Genell), his sister, Linda A. Royal (Danny), 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great-nephews, 1 aunt, 2 uncles, numerous cousins and many, many friends.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, Mar 16, 2012 at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Ga 31406.

Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Frank Gupton, pastor of the Trinity Church of God, officiating.

Interment: will follow in Lower Lott’s Creek Cemetery, Highway 46, in Register, Ga.
