My deepest sympathy, you might not know me by name but my brother was Bill  Snider one of Genes best friends, he passed away in accident in 1972. Gene was there to be with  Mom and Dad and myself, it meant so very much to us. My brother  was only 28 years old. It was just before Joan passed away.Gene and I went to school together. He was one awesome guy. What he didn't  think of to get into my brother would. They were great hunters and fishing buddies, we always thought they would  marry a mermaid or bear,  since they were always busy doing those things.  Maybe they are all together again.  I had been trying to find Gene on Facebook for the past few years, finally my sisternlaw told me tonite. Rest in peace.

 up high in the sky, with gods angels in the golden bandstand, far from the end. Peace,love,prayers to all that knew you near and far.

Thank you for sharing all the memories of your life with me. You seen my good heart and I seen yours. Some people like us and some people dont. But god always loves us. Im gonna miss you friend,until we meet again. Every year on our birthday,I add another candle til I reach our heavenly fathers light. May god bless all your family.

Gene i know your in heaven spite all the ugly in this world. You always meant well and you had a kind heart. We met we talk we part but god always knows whats in our heart. He loved all of you even when times were toughest. Rest my friend.

Dear, Gene and family, I am very sorry for your loss of the "Old Man"  That's how I was introduced to him and knew him, he was very nice to me and I have alot of nice memories of him.  He will be miss!  Hope you find peace in your time of sorrow, remember all the great and not so great hunting trips with him and then you can reflect back and laugh, thats what he would want you to do.  You and your family is in my prayers.

I want you to know how saddened I am to hear about Gene's passing. He reminded me of so many things he, Joan, Robbie & I did together. From getting married together, having our children together, on & on so many memories. Little Gene your Mom was my best friend & now she & your Dad are together again. GENE AND I WERE CLOSE FRIENDS GROWING UP IN DEPTFORD HOMES. I HAVEN'T INTERACTED WITH HIM FOR A VERY LONG TIME. WE LOST CONTACT  WHEN WE BECAME ADULTS. I AM SADDENED ABOUT HIS DEATH.

Little Gene, my thoughts are with you.  Your Daddy has always been a part of my life from the very day I was born.  He was the best friend my Daddy ever had from the earliest times I can remember and I can only imagine the stories they are telling now.  The stories he told me from a little girl to the time when I needed them most are in my heart forever.  Take one day at a time and remember the good times you had in the woods and on the river with him.

Rest in peace, Gene. We will always remember you and the fun times we had together. We invited Gene to visit us here during hunting season 2010. Gene bagged a buck at the club and was very excited about that. Billy and Gene had a great time reminiscing about all the fun times they had hunting, especially in Ft. Stewart. We kept in contact with him after that and are sad that he has passed. To his family, know that he spoke of you often and loved you all very much.  May God comfort you in this time of sadness.
