Mary Ruth Andruss

Mrs. Mary Ruth Andruss, age 85, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her residence under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born in Senoia, Georgia and had lived in Savannah for the last forty six years. Mrs. Andruss was a Registered Nurse and worked at Memorial Medical Center for several years. She also volunteered at The Thrift Shop at Hunter Army Air Field for many years. Mrs. Andruss was a collector of antique dolls, enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Andruss, and her son, Theodore A. Andruss.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, George R. and Elena Andruss of Tampa, FL.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 2:00 until 5:00 P.M. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

The funeral service will be Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Entombment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
