Michael Craig Schulz

Michael (Mike) Schulz, 54, of Savannah, GA died Wednesday Sept 25 2013 after a hard-fought, 4 month battle against cancer. Born in Queens, N.Y., he was the son of Robert E. Schulz and Barbara VanWickel Schulz. He grew up in Connecticut, later moving to Santa Barbara,California where he married and had his children before moving his family to Washington, NC and later settling in Savannah GA. Mike supervised numerous commercial construction projects from hotels, research facilities, gyms and high schools from North Carolina to Georgia and later established his own licensed general contractor business. Mike was a member of CBC (Community Bible Church) of Savannah and he enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, Nascar, ECU, family and a sincere love for our Lord.

He leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Suzanne (Suzie) Cline Schulz and daughters, Katie, 23 years and Amie, 21 years. In addition to his parents, surviving siblings include brothers Richard Schulz of Grifton, NC, David Schulz of Lititz, PA, Eric Schulz of Newbury, MA and a sister, Lisa Schulz Mandt of Sudbury MA.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel located at 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive in Savannah.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday September 29, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
