Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Jones Nowicki

Susan Nowicki, 41, died unexpectantly on Sunday, February 5th, 2012, in Brunswick, GA. She was a resident of Richmond Hill, Georgia.

She was born February 16, 1970, in Savannah, Georgia.

She attended Calvary Day School and Savannah Christian and graduated with honors from South College in 2000 with a degree in Paralegal Studies. She worked as a paralegal for Deming, Parker law firm in Savannah before retiring.

Susan was predeceased by her beloved maternal grandmother, Dallas Rutherford, her maternal grandfather, H.E. Rutherford and her aunt, Mary Helen Rutherford.

She is survived by her son, Justin Ryan Nowicki; her parents, Bill and Linda Jones; uncles, Lynn Rutherford (Pat), Bobby Jones (Dale), of Savannah, Georgia, Gordon Douglas (Judy) of Leitchfield, Kentucky; Aunts: Patricia Jackson (Danny) of Midway, GA, Brenda Olson (Pat) of Himrod, NY as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Susan was a member of Whitemarsh Baptist Church.

She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, located at 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416, or to a charity of your choice.
