

Thomas Keith Boswell, Jr., 85, of Savannah, passed away on January 25, 2012, at Hospice Savannah. Keith was born May 29, 1926, in Millen to the late Thomas K. and Mary Agnes Waters Boswell. In 1944, he enlisted in the U. S. Army, and proudly served his country in Europe during World War II. Keith was active with the American Red Cross and the U.S.O., working with hundreds of Georgia Servicemen and Women. He was a member of Clinton Lodge #54, F.&A.M.’s, the Scottish Rite Consistory-Valley of Savannah, and the Windsor Forest Golden Age Center. He was also a long time member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of over 46 years Janet Holton Boswell, and his brother William C. Boswell, Sr. He is survived by his sons Tommy Boswell III and Mark Boswell (Lisa), both of Savannah; grandchildren Thomas Boswell IV of Anderson, Brandi Griner, Heather Boswell, and Mark Russell Boswell, all of Savannah; great granddaughter Mackenzie Griner; sister LaVera Daniels of Atlanta; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 3-5pm on Sunday, January 29 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Graveside Services will be held at 2pm on Monday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, with Rev. Jennifer Britt officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would like remembrances made to Hospice Savannah P.O.
