Carol Nancy Collier

It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Nancy Collier (nee Bloye) announce her passing on January 3, 2025 at 80 years of age. Born August 31, 1944 she is now in the arms of Bill, the love of her life. Carol lived a full and vibrant life that touched many lives along the way. In earlier years she enjoyed and excelled at her administrative career and later became the coordinator of the family Coalminer newsletter. She met husband Bill as a teenager, married him March 16, 1963 and enjoyed 56 loving years together. They enjoyed fancy cars, travel and sharing their home and pool with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her passion. Her kindness and infectious laugh will be missed by many.

Carol will be remembered by her children Lynette (Darren), Larry (Leeann) and Janette. Siblings Don, Linda and Kim. Grandchildren Rily, Will, Andrew, Nadia, Alexander and Katie. In Laws Gail, Sue, Mark, Joan (George), Margaret, Marilyn (Gary), Diane (Peter), Linda (Danny), Michael (Karen). Numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by husband Bill, parents Shirley and Wes, brothers Barry and Steve, in laws Carol, Frank, Kathy and Tom.

The Family would also like to thank Lakeridge Heights Retirement Residence and the Lakeridge Health-Oshawa Hospital for their exceptional care.

Memorial visitation at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home; 1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario, M1R 2Y8 from 12 noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 1 PM.
