Peacefully, on May 1, 2023, in her 96th year, following a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan in 2007. Loving Mother to David (Ruth), Paul, and Brian (Valerie); Grandmother to Timothy (Amy), Matthew (Sarah), Sarah (Tim Trouborst), Brian Jr., Joe, Jason and Josh; and Great-Grandmother to Joy and Isaac, Leah and Nathan, and Espen and Hart. A long-time resident on Greylawn Crescent, Scarborough, Edna moved to DelManor Wynford in 2017. Edna volunteered with numerous organizations, including IODE, as a member of the Glen Stewart Chapter and honoured as a Life Member; IODE Childrens’ Centre at North York General Hospital; and fundraising for Community Association for Riding for the Disabled (CARD).
Memorial visitation will be held at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (just west of Warden Ave.), (416)-751-7890, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Service of Remembrance in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
