Janusz Stanislaw Gawlowski

On January 9th, 1951, Kazimierz Gawlowski and Krystyna Gawlowska welcomed a son into this world, Janusz Gawlowski. Janusz grew up to be a strong willed, passionate, hard working, brave, funny, spontaneous and kind hearted man. On November 13, 1981 Janusz arrived in Canada with dreams of providing a better life for his family. He worked relentlessly at numerous jobs to save enough money so his adoring wife Barbara and son Bartlomiej could join him. After two years of not seeing his family, Janusz was reunited with his wife and son in Toronto, Ontario. Janusz was always looking for ways to better his and his family's life. He was a natural entrepreneur, opening up multiple businesses in Canada and the United States and balancing other full time jobs. Janusz loved working and meeting new people. Janusz built friendships wherever he went. Some of his closest friends that he met when he first arrived in Canada have become his family over the years.

God saw Janusz suffering and called him home peacefully on Saturday, October 14th 2023 at the age of 72. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, his son, grandchildren, older sister, nieces, and nephew. He will be cherished by his dearest friends and extended family. Janusz is now reunited with his parents, grandparents and his beloved dog, Bingo. Janusz was a kind and loving partner to his wife. He loved hearing his wife laugh and was often the cause of her laughter. He truly met the love of his life and made sure she knew it, right up until his last breath. Janusz met Barbara in 1971 and they married two years later. Although Janusz was such a hard worker, with many successes, his biggest accomplishment was his family. He was proud of his family and always put them first. He was their strength, their hero, and their advocate. He would always push them to reach their full potential. His legacy lives on within each and every one of them.
