The family is deeply saddened by his passing.
Len is survived and sadly missed by his wife, Jennifer (nee Brown) and his brother Alex and sister-in-law Shirley. Forever treasured by his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, honorary nieces and nephews. Len is predeceased by his mother Evelyn, father Alphonse, sisters Lizzie and Donna and brother Horace. Len was born in Bartica, Guyana in 1947. He migrated to Canada in 1970 as an electrician but soon transgressed into technology.
He worked for a variety of companies before settling into his career at Centennial College. It is at Centennial College where he met Jenn in 1980 and their love story began. During Len’s retirement he enjoyed working for the many levels of government during elections. When Len wasn’t working he was usually coaching his nieces and nephews in soccer or going to World Cups with Jenn.
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed Jenn is to her family and friends for their support during these last few difficult years. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca) in support of dementia research.
A Memorial Visitation for Len will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Avenue. East, Scarborough, ON M1R 2Y8, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M
