Muriel Hannah Strome

On September 10, Muriel passed away peacefully and on her own terms with her daughter by her side. She would have been 101 years old in 19 days. She joins her beloved husband, Wilford Strome. She leaves her son, Barry Strome (Jean) and her daughter, Linda Strome (Jim McLean). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Andrew Strome (Heather Sherman), Elissa Strome (David Asgiersson) and Tara Rozalowsky (Steve). She also leaves 5 great-grandchildren (Nancy, Sidney, Emma, Landon and Alex). Thank you to the amazing staff on the 6th floor at The Wexford Residence for taking such good care of Muriel for over 13 years. A Visitation for Muriel will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough, ON M1R2Y8. Due to the COVID guidelines guests are still required to follow the mandate of two metres (six feet) physical distancing. 50 people will be permitted in the room at a time. Guests may be required to wait in line prior to entering the funeral home. Upon entry to the funeral home guests will be required to provide their contact information for the purpose of contact tracing. Masks or face coverings are required indoors. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home with an Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 2700 Kingston Road, Scarborough, ON M1M 1M5.
