Sorry to hear of Pat's passing.  I was one of his foster children in the 80's. He put up with my teenage stuff. I believe, your with Monika now. Thanks, for looking after me. My condolences too his family.

I'm so very sorry about Mr. Patrick. He used to have great conversations with my dad, who just turned 100 years old on March 23. I'll certainly miss his friendship. He was always helpful & very friendly.  

At Tim Hortons and the area he was so appreciated, talented and was able to make canes for example He is missed by many He told people wonderful hellos.  One time a teacher from local college was so happy to hear a compliment on the behaviour of her students  from a  nearby school ..   Upon exiciting  Tims he’d wish us  a good rest of the day.            His manner was always excellent .        All the best and sympathies to his family and  careby friends in the community.

One of our earliest memories of Paddy is him rollerblading around our drive in Rosserk. It was always considered a dangerous activity in our house so we were very impressed as teenagers!

We had so much fun with Paddy, on both his visits to Ireland and when we visited you in Toronto. He was a lovely, kind, warm soul with a great sense of fun. Conversations never stayed serious for long. 

We enjoyed many trips with Paddy to see various attractions, to the 'greasy spoon' and later Tim Hortons and had great round table discussions in the mornings where we planned the day ahead- bike rides around the neighborhood (where he supplied us all with bikes) and him and dad driving around to see what treasures they might find. 

It was an absolute pleasure to know him and we are grateful for the lovely times we had together. 

Adrienne, may we offer our sincere sympathy to  Yourself, Michael and all your family at this very sad time on the passing of your dad. We have fantastic memories of our visits to Toronto and staying with your Mom and Dad in Budea Cresent and later years in the Condo, such a fabulous time. I really enjoyed listening to uncle Pat telling stories from the past about his native Currower and what he got up to also the local dance halls and the happenings there, I knew some of the stories were true but some others were slightly embellished. I’m sure that today he has a group gathered around him listening to stories of his past life giving his very polished version also. Pat was the last surviving child of Anthony & Margaret Mullen Currower, Attymass  Today we pray that Pat is with his wife Monica and his brother James, sisters May, Winnie and Recently deceased Katie.

Your parents were both very kind to me when I first returned to Toronto in early 2000's and your mom generously shared Pat with us at various Irish venues.    Pat was always caring and kind and a very good friend to me over the years.    He will be dearly missed.   But as you say, his dance is done and he's united with Monica again.    A proud Mayo man and very proud to call Canada his home.

One of the funniest memories was Adrienne’s wedding you and your friends hired morning suits all your Irish builders wore them for a whole week to get there monies worth and partied for an entire week.

Pat Auntie Mo was waiting to greet you. You are free from the terrible disease that was Alzheimer’s which stole your mind but never damped your charismatic character. Although we hadn’t seen you for a number of years doesn’t stop us thinking and asking after you.
