It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Rocca (Rocchina) Addorisio on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the age of 81, surrounded by her loved ones. She is now reunited in eternity with her beloved husband, Rocco. She is cherished by her loving children Francesco (Catharine), Antonella (John) and Josie (Corrado).
Rocchina was born in Monteleone Di Puglia, Italy, a woman of simple pleasures, a strong work ethic, and great empathy for people. A devout Roman Catholic, she would always take care of others before herself. She was happiest when she was surrounded by love, and in celebration with her family and friends. The reach of her love also extended out to the many friends brought home by her children, whom she took on as if they were her own children and grand children. A woman of incredible strength and spirit, Rocchina was a tireless provider who poured her energy into everything she did, whether it was caring for her many dog, cat, bird and rabbit companions over the years, tending to her house plants and flowers, or to her sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She loved sharing her passion for cooking and baking of traditional specialties from her Pugliese roots, and she was never happier than when her home was filled with laughter, the aroma of her cooking, and the joy of her loved ones gathered around the table. She loved listening to and singing along to everything from Neapolitan songs to popular music, and she also spent many hours praying while sitting in reflection; now, her voice echoes in our hearts as cherished memories.
Rocchina will always be remembered for her strength, resilience, love, unwavering family and Christian values and deep devotion to family and friends. She will be greatly missed; her memory and loving spirit will be always treasured in our hearts. May Rocchina rest in eternal peace forever in the embrace of God.
