Ronald Joseph Martin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ron Martin on December 29, 2024, at the age of 64. Ron shared his life with his beloved partner, Yvonne Tronson, and their cherished furry companion, Mia. A passionate sports fan, Ron found joy in cheering for his favorite teams and treasured the camaraderie of his wonderful circle of friends, many of whom he had known since high school.

Ron dedicated much of his life to his work as a driver, where he formed lasting relationships with his employer Paul Wolfe Electric, and many colleagues and customers. He often spoke fondly of these connections.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Aline and Urbain Martin, and his sister, Pamela Martin. He is survived by his brothers Paul (Sue), Robert (Lem), and Kevin; his sisters Karen, Tracey, and Debbie (Dave); and several loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd, at 10:00 am at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, located at 1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario, followed by a short service at 11:00 am. After the service, friends and acquaintances are invited to join Ron’s family for a gathering with food and refreshments at the Legion Hall, located at 1083 Pape Avenue, East York.
