His generosity, kindness and his giving has been mentioned by others, we can attest to that as we have been the recipient of his kindness and generosity.
We will miss him dearly and cherish the good times - BMX picnics, dinners at the house and specially the trips to Portugal, Ecuador, Roatan and South America. These trips were enjoyable because of his meticulous planning.

I have known Trevor since 1965 and I have always maintained my bragging rights of being his bench mate in Grade 9. Having parted ways after High School in 1969, we finally reconnected in 2003 for one of the earlier BMX meeting. 
From that day onwards, through several meetings at organized events, picnics, parties, dinners, a weekend holiday at their cottage, wine making trips, and even a cruise, the bond between our families grew from strength to strength, to the extent that in the past few years we communicated every single day in some form or the other and when we would speak our conversations were indeed diverse, long and intense. 
We spoke about everything from DIY projects, Good to have tools, cars, investments, opined about National and Global events but more intently on a possible relocation to South America. Trevor for us, was a great Go-To buddy for an opinion on many matters as both Monica and I, admired both Rita and Trevor for their very many attributes. His departure has left a void in our lives, we have so many unfinished conversations and plans that came to an abrupt halt, however the Lord had better plans for him and a better place from where he will continue to guide and intercede for his beautiful Rita and family and the several friends he has left behind. So until we meet again RIP our special Friend. Love, Monica and Sid.

20 years ago, Joe Nunes invited me to a BMX Toronto meeting.  It wasn't long before Lisette and I were involved with this fun alumni group and enjoying organizing events together with Trevor and Rita.  I had known of Trevor back in Goa as his sister & mine were classmates in high school.  

10 years ago, almost to the day, we accompanied Trevor and his family on a unique trip to an isolated island off the Kuna Yala coast of Panama.  That once-in-a-lifetime trip, during which we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary Kuna Indian style, cemented a travelling friendship that took us to Japan, Thailand and Colombia. To Trevor's family: 
Trevor and I were classmates at St. Joseph's Primary School in Dar es salaam during the years 1962, 1963 and 1964. Trevor together with me and other classmates used to play cricket at the Museum garden grounds close to his residence along Mirambo Street during the school holidays. I have attached a photo of the Standard 8 students in our final year of Primary School. Trevor is kneeling on the extreme left of the front row. I met Trevor very briefly in Parra, Goa while on a holiday in 1969. I also met him in Dar es salaam sometime in 1975 or 1976 when he was on a visit. Sadly, I was unable to keep in touch.
It came as a shock to me to hear of his sudden passing. I feel your pain and sorrow of losing a wonderful, caring human being who brought love and joy to you all and to so many of his friends. We will all miss him. May his soul rest in peace as we mourn his passing.

Trevor sparked my imagination from the beginning. He saw how much I loved sharks and insects so he'd play along with that and used to tell me he was building a massive outdoor aquarium where he started roughing in his fountain out front. He would convince me that soon he'll have a Great White Shark on display or that the rabbit holes in the backyard were from Tarantula's. And even for the simple things, he'd let me hang out with him when he was taking care of his garden and trees; something he loved. I'd follow him around like I would with my Grandfather but with Trevor, I always saw him as a Grandfather, too. He was the man that would look you in the eye and genuinely ask you how you were doing because he cared to know. The last time we saw him was at the end of Summer 2021. Standing in front of his garden with pride, he saw Penelope and Viana walk up to him so he decided that out of all his Hydrangea plants, he would cut the biggest and most colourful Hydrangeas to give to Penelope and Viana. He made them feel like princesses. That's who Trevor was and is; one of the good ones. To you, Trevor, I will forever remember you for the impact you've had in my life and for the incredible character you had. It'll hurt not to see you outside when we come over to Nonna's and Nonno's and it'll hurt not to be able to hear that gentle voice, shake your hand, give you a hug and to be able to sit down with you and talk. I hope that maybe you are building that amazing Shark aquarium, or that maybe you're creating a new garden. Whatever it may be, you are loved and you are missed. Thank you for showing me that love doesn't have colour or nationality. Thank you for giving me the memories I still talk about until this very day. Love you, Trevor.

I am in total shock I still can't believe Trevor is gone.  Too soon , too young,  my heart breaks for the entire family.  It has been a pleasure knowing Trevor.  I've known him for over 35 years now,  he has  seen my children grow up and we have seen Desiree grow up into a beautiful woman , wife and now mother.  His was like a Uncle to my kids, I still remember when my first child Jesse was born in 1989, he bought over a Huge bottle of Canadian Whiskey and we said we wouldn't open it till he got married.   Well my son got married a few years ago and had the pleasure to open and said a beautiful speech regarding this huge bottle he got when he was born and was very thankful to Trevor and Rita.  
Thank you Trevor for being such a great person, you were family to us and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for always taking care of my In-laws Ida and Pat.
This world will never be the same without you.  RIP TREVOR.

Getting to know Trevor was a delight. He was hospitable, charming and full of fun.

It is with heavy hearts that we have to share a memory of a man who we have yet to come to terms with that is no longer with us.  Trevor and Rita have been an integral part of our entire family for decades!  Trevor loved to send jokes via email, have political conversations and just sit around the table and share stories about vacation spots he loved.  His joyous laugh will linger on forever. I will never forget the many memories I shared with Trevor. Trevor was truly an amazing person! He had such a loving heart and was so full of knowledge. He also had such a great sense of humor and I loved watching his face get so red when he would laugh, it was the best! Trevor was my grandparents neighbour for over 40 years and would take such great care of them, I will always be thankful to him for that. He was more than just a neighbour to my family and I, he was truly family and like an uncle to me.  I have such great memories with him.
