of 95. Walter, beloved husband of the late Marianne, passed away at Michael Garron Hospital
where he was treated with the utmost compassion. Beloved father to Othmar, Ottilie and Conny,
and loving Opa to Kirstin, Thea and Eric. He was happy to meet his great-grandchildren,
Watson and Flora. After arriving in Canada in 1958, he was eventually able to follow his true passion of becoming a master craftsman, building furniture to his very high standards for many years.
Special thanks to the staff at Nisbet Lodge for their outstanding care of our father over the past
3 years. An extra special thanks to the PSW’s, nursing staff and support staff of the 4th floor,
who treated Walter with much love and kindness.
We will miss him dearly.
