Carol A. Scarcello, age 83, of Fort Myers, Florida and longtime resident of Tuckahoe. NY. passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024. Carol was born on June 30, 1940 to Mae and Joseph Udice of White Plains, NY. Carol and her husband Louis P. Scarcello who were married in 1964, lived with their three daughters in Tuckahoe New York. Carol was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She carried out these roles through her innate strength, intelligence and commitment to her family and friends. Carol loved to cook for her family and always had a favorite recipe card to share. Carol was an avid reader. Her favorite book, which she read at least six times, was Gone with the Wind.
She was an Associate Director for the National Conference of Christians and Jews in White Plains New York for 25 years, where she was in human relations and fundraising. In 1999 Carol and Louis retired to Fort Myers Florida. However, they would return to New York often to spend time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom meant so much to them. Carol was vibrant, witty, and undoubtedly courageous. She lived fearlessly and with an infinite love for her family, friends and career. Carol's passing is a heartfelt loss for everyone who knew and loved her. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Lou and is survived by her three daughters Robbin Capossela (Michael), Loraine Izzo and Renee MCCoy (Curtis), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral mass for Carol will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carman Rd, Scarsdale, New York 10583. Following the funeral mass will be a burial from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, New York 10532.
