Eileen Alice Tallent

Eileen was a faithful parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale for 56 years.

For 28 years Eileen worked for the Board of Education in White Plains holding various secretarial positions. Eileen was a devoted mother to her 4 sons John, Kevin, Thomas (Jennifer) and Brian (Maria) and a proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren John, Jillian, Patrick, Brianna, Julia and James.

Eileen was known for baking her apple pies, cheesecakes, crumb cakes and Irish Soda bread. Eileen also enjoyed traveling with her friends.

We would like to thank Luisa, Nikki, and Rosalie for preparing their homemade soups that our mother enjoyed during her courageous fight these past several months. We also would like to thank the staff at Calvary Hospital for the compassionate care given to our mother during her final days.

Visitation for Eileen will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes, 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, NY 10583. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church-Scarsdale, 8 Carman Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583. A committal service will occur Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
