

Frank was married to Barbara on April 20, 1985; they were married for 36 years before her passing on May 22, 2021. He was previously married to Marilyn Tuttle, who passed away in 1976 at age 44.
Frank is survived by his son, William, his wife Linda, and their children, Melissa (Jimmy) Hayre, Priscilla (Charlie) Mason, and Michael, and greatgrandchildren, Breianna, Evan, and Reyna; and by his daughter, Eileen, her husband Ed Falco, and their children, Edward (Amanda), Daniel (Nicole), and Laura (Michael) Staples, and greatgrandchildren, Zoey, Sophia, Hannah, Ethan, Madison, Adalyn, and Clara; and by his step-daughter, Kathy DePascale and her children, John, and Joseph (Patricia), and greatgrandchildren, Kasey and Bryan; arriving at a combined 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 12 greatgrandchildren.
Frank is also survived by his dear friends and neighbors, Pat and Lisa Costello. Frank’s family will be forever grateful for the generosity and kindness of the Costello’s, who were always willing to make sure that Frank was safe and comfortable.
Frank is preceded in death by his father, William; his mother, Rose; his sister, Florence; his brother, William Jr.; his sister, Eleanor; and step-daughter Kathy’s husband, Cory.
Frank was born at home on Walnut Avenue in Port Morris, The Bronx on October 22, 1931. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and at age 49 he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Mercy College (night classes).
Frank enlisted for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict, serving one year in Seoul, Korea, and honorably discharged as a combat veteran. On May 31, 2025, he participated in mission #36 of the Hudson Valley Honor Flight organization, traveling to Washington D.C with a group of veterans and visiting several monuments, including the Korean War Veterans Memorial. Accompanied by his grandson, Edward, and friend/neighbor, Pat, Frank called it the perfect day.
Frank worked as a teller, assistant treasurer, computer programmer, and general auditor for North Side Savings Bank (now CapOne Bank) before retiring after 33 years. After his banking career, Frank pursued his passion, photography. He enjoyed reading, walking, driving, and traveling across the pond. He was also actively involved as Treasurer of the Westchester Professional Photographers’ Association – WPPA, and Treasurer of Learning in Retirement at Iona College – LIRIC. During the last several years, he enjoyed monthly lunches with Retired Old Men Eating Out – ROMEO.
Visitation and funeral will be held on Saturday, January 3, from 9:00am to 10:30am, at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home, 824 Scarsdale Avenue, Scarsdale, NY. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Frank’s memory may be given to the Meals on Wheels organization. Following Barbara’s passing, Meals on Wheels provided Frank with daily nutritional meals and social interaction, leading to dozens of friendships with the meal delivery volunteers.
