George Clement Kilray

George was married to Margaret M. Guiry on February 7, 2008. They were married for 13 wonderful years.

George was born in Hartford, Connecticut on February 23, 1941. He graduated from Bulkeley High School. George proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.

George devoted himself to others throughout his life. After his years of service in the Air Force, George worked as an accountant at Fleet Operations for over twenty years. Upon his retirement, George spent much of his time as a referee for youth sports around their Westchester home and as a summer counselor at Camp Hillard in Scarsdale. George’s greatest joys were spending time with Margaret, his family, close friends, and rooting for his beloved Boston Red Sox. George was always smiling and shared his joy with anyone around him.

George is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Margaret M. Guiry Kilray, brothers William Kilray of Newington, CT, and Joseph Kilray of Rocky Hill, CT, as well as 48 nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews who all adored their Uncle George.

George is preceded in death by his parents George Clement Kilray and Mary Kirby Kilray, and brothers Edward and Robert Kilray.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be private for family members.
