Everyday is so hard without you, Miss you beyond words can say!

That’s what he(UJ) was known in the surety world, but especially at Washington International and NAS. I found these pictures in my photos of just a sliver of all the fun times we had together. I’ll miss those classic dinners at Sparks.

My deepest condolences to Diane and Julian, and all of John’s family and friends.  I know a deep hole has been left with his passing.

I will miss you terribly. So many memories, backyard chats, your wisdom, your energy, your genuine concern for everyone’s well being. Truly a great person. 
I will forever tell my friends that you kept asking me to replace my Irish tri-color flag because the red had faded! Mic vs. Ginny never mattered.   Always the ball buster, my friend. I couldn’t ask for someone more aligned with my thoughts and beliefs. Truly a brother of another mother. All the best cigars and scotch up there! Save one for me when we meet again.

John was a lovely gentleman, one of a kind from a generation that lived with dignity, compassion, kindness and love. He always filled our conversations with humor and thoughtfulness. My sincere condolences to his longtime partner, Miyoung and his family . Fly high John and join the angels.

My heart is truly so broken to hear this sad news,  the lord has taken such a wonderful man away from us.. I first met John when I was 16.  He held court at that dinner table, telling stories and dishing out food, making certain the only kid in the room felt like she was part of the conversation.  It’s not often someone so “larger than life” also emanates kindness and generosity. He was my father’s brother in all the ways that matter, and I’ll always be grateful to have known him.

Always loved his caring, comedic (er.... sarcastic) insight & words of support and compassion to all! We will miss you & love ya.
