

Joseph Paul DeLaurentis, Jr., 86, of Eastchester, NY, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026. Born on September 14, 1939, in Eastchester, he built a life filled with family, hard work, and dedication to his community.
A well-respected site contractor, Joseph co-founded DeLaurentis Construction with his brother Edmund, building a legacy of quality and integrity in the construction industry. His commitment to environmental stewardship was recognized with an award at the White House for beautifying the land while developing it, a testament to his belief that progress and preservation could go hand in hand.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carole DeLaurentis; his daughters Sandra Arnau (Jim), Paula DeLaurentis Forlenza (Mark), and Michelle Liscio; grandchildren James Arnau, Lauren Linnane (Cody), Sophia Forlenza, Carole Ann Liscio, Michael Liscio, and Elizabeth Liscio; and great-grandchildren Carter and Hailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elena and Joseph DeLaurentis; his sisters Pia Mauro and her husband John, and Rita DiSanto and her husband Alfred; and his brother Rocco Edmund DeLaurentis and his wife Mary.
A visitation will be held at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home, located at 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, NY 10583, on January 22, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carman Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583, on January 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
The committal service will be held at Gate Of Heaven, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532, on January 23, 2026, from 11:30 am to 11:45 am.
