Scarsdale, where she built a close network of friends through her community and her church, Our Lady of Fatima.
Lillian enjoyed a 25-year career in telecommunications, beginning with Ma Bell and continuing through Verizon and its predecessor companies. Her work in the business office spanned many roles, and she was truly ahead of her time as a computer programmer and a woman in STEM during the 1970s and 1980s. As technology evolved, so did Lillian, ultimately retiring as a manager.
In retirement, Lillian devoted her time to giving back. She volunteered at Our Lady of Fatima, delivered Meals on Wheels to members of her community, and was an active participant in a local AARP chapter on City Island, where she proudly held an officer position. Her pastimes reflected her generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to service.
Lillian was predeceased by her older brother, George, and her younger brother, Joseph. Though she never married or had children of her own, she took great pride in her one niece and seven nephews, as well as their spouses and her great-nieces and great-nephews.
