Marie A. Esposito passed away on January 21, 2025 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, New York. She was 83 years old. Marie was born on April 30, 1941 in the Bronx to Vito Romano and Angelina (DiRuocco) Romano.
Marie was proud to be a wife, mother and grandmother and took great joy in decorating her home, sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking for her family especially during the holiday season. It was her true passion and one which she did her whole lifetime.
Marie was predeceased by her loving husband Michael R. Esposito (2020) and her brother Frank Romano (2021). Marie is survived by her daughter Kathy, her son Michael and daughter in law Antonella Esposito. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren Andrew, Justin and Gabriella, her sister Joan (Romano) Carvette, her nephews Matthew and Thomas and her many cousins.
A 2-hour memorial service will be held at Bennett Funeral Home in Scarsdale, NY on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 9:30am.
