Robert Joseph Gerard Thompson

He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Doris Thompson (nee Miller).

He leaves behind his beloved daughter Patricia Cho0, son-in-law Edward Cho0,

granddaughters Kathleen Reisner (Tyler) and Melissa "Phoenix", and great-grandchildren

Jicaiya, Aulii and Paikea.

Bob was a proud Army Veteran of WWIl having served in the Philippines and Korea. After

returning home, he began a career with the American Can Company in New Jersey. After

retirement, he and his wife moved to Hartsdale in 2001 to be closer to their family.

Bob enjoyed researching his family history, playing golf, fishing and rooting for the Yankees

and the Giants. But mostly he enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Bob was a great man and will be missed by all that knew him.

Reposing at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home, 824 Scarsdale Ave., Scarsdale, NY on

Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A chapel service at the funeral home

will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Interment at Kensico Cemetery,

Valhalla, NY.

Robert's name.
