I remember teaching Tommy and a few of the other guys - especially Tommy Doran - to dance - the tune was "Hit the Road Jack" - Tommy was REALLY SERIOUS about this - and they all turned out to be great dancers.  Tommy was always kind to me, and I was glad when he made it home from the Merchant Marines.  I went to a party at his house one and he was so proud and happy to show me around his beautiful home.  I was so happy for Tommy the successful  Locksmith who made such a beautiful life for his daughters and his wonderful wife.  His star shines bright - we were all lucky to see him glow. To Tommy's family. So sorry to learn of your great loss. Although I haven't seen "Beej" in  lot of years, I do have so many good memories from hanging out at Echo Park, the basement, and being teased at St. Helena's. What Makes a Man

Tom, Tommy, Mr. B, Mr.Bargallo, Sweetheart, hubby, Daddy, Papa, King, Boss, Meyers, brother, brother in law, sister in law, uncle, buddy or friend.  Whatever you knew him as you can count yourself among the very blessed.  I am sure you know who you are because he would have given you a special nickname as he did to so many.  Try and think of someone he did not have a nickname for. 

We will all have our special memories of him.  He lived such a full, happy life and did not waste a minute of it complaining or being down (except to Collette who was his right arm in life).  You could always count on him to brighten your days whether you were just having a meal, vacationing, golfing, watching the Yankees, waiting on line at Dominicks or on Arthur Avenue during the holidays, checking in on the phone all day long or conducting business.  He did all of these things with such enthusiasm, attention, caring and especially with his love.  He wasted no time in life. 
When I think about him, the characteristic I come up with and admired about him was that he was a traditional man.  
Tradition was embedded in his soul. 

Whenever something made people happy it became tradition.  His New Year's Eve parties, barbecues, playing continental, going or watching sports and getting in on those pools, golfing, going on fantastic vacations, eating out with friends.  He did all of these things and more with such joy and flair.
  
The thing he did best, of course, was loving and taking the best care of Collette-ski and his gurls and his beautiful new grandkids.  They were always his priority in life 24/7.  He never wavered with that.

He also took real good care of his extended family as well with Dympna topping the list.  What a great relationship and bond they shared over the years.  Even now, St. Dympna was his source of comfort and prayer.
Whatever your memories of Tommy are, I know that you will always treasure them and will continue to love him forever.  

He is with his main guy now who I'm sure will reward him well for being the wonderful traditional  man he was.  May he rest in eternal peace.

All of us who were lucky enough to know Tommy have been upgraded to a higher level of existence because of his often irrational but always welcomed exuberance! Thank you my friend, God Bless you and rest in peace.

Uncle Tommy,

Although God decided it was your time to go, you will always be remembered and loved. We will always know that you'll be looking down on us keeping us safe, and making sure that we live a good life just like you did. When our time has come on Earth it will be a little bit easier knowing that there is a friendly, loving face waiting to greet us with open arms.  Even though you are gone you will never be forgotten. We will miss you and love you forever.  

Family and friends, I am sorry I cannot make it. With a heavy and hurt heart I send my love for you all. Rest assured Uncle Tommy is looking down upon you and seeing how much he is loved and missed.  

God saw that he was getting tired,
A cure was not to be.

'I cannot believe that it has been 50 years since I and my friends were embraced by the Bargallo family. We moved into the basement of 1930 Anthony Avenue and remained there through high school. Mr. Bargallo was a father to many of us an the youngsters became our siblings. We hung together through a lot .of tragedies, local and national, but we grew up at the end. A very special and dear friend. In business and in life Tommy taught us all many things. But always most importantly was his love for his family. So glad that he and I shared a "bucket list" experience at Pebble Beach just a few years ago. Way too soon to leave us. Love you Tommy.

I've known Tom for thirty years, and there were three things that Tom and I discussed. Our Kids, his grand kids and vacations. If you wanted to see his eyes light up, ask him about his family. Tom is one of those people you meet in life, that will always a positive mark on your life. 
I'll will miss our conversations, and I will miss you dearly.
