Anna B. Horst

Anna B. Horst, 83, of Richland, PA, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital. She was the wife of Mervin W. Horst with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Earl Township, Lancaster County on August 5, 1932, she was daughter of the late Martin M. and Susanna Burkholder Zimmerman. She was a member of Millbach Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference. In addition to her husband Mervin, she is survived by 8 children, Eugene, husband of Linda Burkholder Horst, Newmanstown; Esther, wife of Lester Martin, Myerstown; Grace, wife of Leroy Wise, Myerstown; Kathryn, wife of Irvin Martin, Atmore, AL; Mervin Roy, husband of Louise Martin Horst, Newmanstown; Joyce, wife of Edwin Zimmerman, New Holland; Marlin, husband of Kathryn Burkholder Horst, Stanley, NY; Nevin, husband of Cynthia Burkholder Horst, Newmanstown; 46 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; brother, Paul, husband of Lena Burkholder Zimmerman, Ephrata; 4 sisters, Eva, widow of Paul Z. Martin, Womelsdorf; Esther, widow of Willis Good, Myerstown; Sarah, wife of Raymond Z. Zimmerman, Lebanon; Susan, wife of Paul M. Martin, Stevens. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, 4 brothers, Elmer, Eli, John and Martin Zimmerman; and 2 sisters, Mary and Elsie Zimmerman. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 9:30 AM in Millbach Mennonite Church, 3 North Millbach Road, Newmanstown, PA. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing on Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, PA. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
