Henry M Eberly

Henry M. Eberly, 84, of Richland, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at his residence. Born in East Earl Township, Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Martin M. and Minnie Martin Eberly. He was married 64 years to Hilda F. (Lehman) Eberly. Henry was a farmer and a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church of Weaverland Conference. In addition to his wife, Henry is survived by ten children, Lucille, wife of Wilmer Martin of Denver; Glenn, husband of Dorene (Marks) Eberly of Newmanstown; Henry, husband of Susan (Putt) Eberly of Myerstown; Mabel, wife of Roy Sensenig of Nottingham; Carl, husband of Darlene (Good) Eberly of Robesonia; Joan, wife of Roy Oberholtzer of Myerstown; Dale, husband of June (Litzenberger) Eberly of Fredericksburg; Philip, husband of Joyce (Burkholder) Eberly of Myerstown; Fay, wife of Nevin Burkholder of Denver; Rachel, wife of Kenneth High of Lititz; 45 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Luke Eberly of Ephrata; Martin Jr., husband of Anna Eberly of Ephrata; Paul, husband of Esther Mae Eberly of Loysville; Willis, husband of Myrna Eberly of Reinholds; John, husband of Abby Eberly of Terre Hill; three sisters, Esther, wife of Irvin Weaver of Stevens; Elizabeth, wife of John Elam Zimmerman of Lebanon; Edna, wife of Allen Brubacker of Unity, WI. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Minerva Eberly; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Eberly; a granddaughter, Sonya Eberly; two great grandsons, Kaden Rutt and Landon Rutt; three sisters, Eva, wife of the late Christian Kurtz; Anna Eberly and Minnie Eberly; a sister-in-law, Elva, wife of Luke Eberly. The Eberly family wishes to express our thanks to Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care as we traveled through this journey. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, PA from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 9:30 am at Fairview Mennonite Church, 111 Elco Drive, Myerstown, PA with Bishop Frank Horning, Lloyd Burkholder, Clarence Weaver and Jay Zimmerman officiating.
