Josephine M Ream

Josephine M. Ream, 89, formerly of Myerstown and Schaefferstown, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Morris N. “Sol” Ream to whom she was married to for 62 years. She was born in Schaefferstown on December 16, 1920, a daughter of the late Charles and Laura Smith Hartman. She loved to read, travel and spend time with her family. Josie is survived by a son, Brian L. Ream of Myerstown; daughter, Karen wife of William Bechtel of Burnt Hills, NY; grandsons, Eric Ream, Bradley Ream and his fiance’ Jenna Caldwell both of Myerstown; Craig Ream of Pittsburgh; W. Todd husband of Audra Bechtel of Glenville, NY; Jonathan husband of Lauren Bechtel of New Windsor, NY; Ryan husband of Beth Bechtel of Burnt Hills, NY; granddaughters, Melissa wife of Daniel Shiner of Lebanon; Patricia Ream of Boston, MA; and twenty-five great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth wife of Frank Moyer of Schaefferstown. She was preceded in death by sons, Eric A. Ream and Glenn C. Ream; brother, Rudolph Hartman and sister, Marguerite Gockley. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:30 AM in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown with a visitation beginning on Friday at 9:30 AM. No Viewing.
