Judy D. Eberly, 85, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025. She was born on October 20, 1940, in Reading, to the late Marie Caroline nee’ Hermany and Charles Franklin Muthart Jr.
Judy worked on the production line for Wilbur Chocolate, but she was an artist at heart and devoted to her creative passion. Judy owned her own art studio in Schaefferstown. She and her husband shared a great love for animals, raising horses and llamas. She was an active member of the L.A.F.F. Llama Fiber Friends, the Historic Schaefferstown Inc, and the Distelfink Crafters.
In June of 1958, she married Benjamin Eberly Jr., who sadly preceded her in death on November 2, 2018. Judy is also preceded by her parents; and her siblings, Gerald Muthart, Robert Muthart, and Jean Hockenbrocht.
Surviving are her daughter, Patty A. (Jeffrey) Brunner of Lititz; her son, Brook A. (Patricia) Eberly of New York; grandchildren, Ashley Eberly of New York, and Nicole (Michael) Croft of Virginia; great grandchildren, Caroline and Landon Croft; and Judy’s sister, Sherry Bell of Texas.
