Kathryn M Ulrich Cox

Kathryn M. Cox, 82, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the Ephrata Manor. She was the wife of the late Harry J. Cox who died on May 12, 2005. She was born in Hopeland on May 10, 1929, a daughter of the late Harry W. and Myrl Heffelfinger Ulrich. She and her husband operated a Christmas Tree Farm in Brickerville for many years. Kathryn loved to travel with her husband where they would fish and hunt for big game. She enjoyed golfing and entertaining, especially while they lived in Florida during the winter time. She is survived by a brother, William H. Ulrich and his wife Brenda of Ephrata; several nieces and nephews; son, John Brubaker and his wife Lydia of Port Travorton, PA; four grandchildren; step children, Frederick Cox of VA and Carol Johnson of Lititz. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jay R. Ulrich. Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 27th at 2:00 PM in the Donecker Chapel of Ephrata Manor, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, PA 17522. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the ‘Ephrata Manor Benevolent Fund’ at Ephrata Manor. Burial will be held privately in the Schaefferstown Cemetery. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. of Schaefferstown is handling her arrangements.
