Kenneth Lee Rabold

Kenneth Lee Rabold, 85, of Jonestown, formerly of Newmanstown, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Shirley Virginia Moore Rabold, to whom he was married to for 64 years. He was born in Warwick Township, Lancaster County on September 29, 1937, a son of the late David E. and Meretta Cope Rabold. Ken drove truck for Dutchland Refrigerated Transport of Newmanstown and his wife Shirley was his co-pilot for many years. He served in the military with the US Air Force and US Army. Ken enjoyed barrel horse racing and won many ribbons. He was especially fond of bluegrass music and played the bass and dobro. Spending time with his family was what he loved the most. Surviving in addition to his loving wife Shirley are two daughters, Talana Dee Mast of Ephrata; Tamela Lee Papson and husband Anthony of Jonestown; grandchildren, Ryan Scott Mast and wife Rose, Nina Alana Stevens, Sarah Nicole Papson, and Rachel Ann Papson; four great grandchildren, Dontae, Tyler, Jaden and Jazara; brother, Arthur Rabold and wife Patricia of Newmanstown. He was preceded in death by brother, Robert Rabold and sister, Dorothy Boyer. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11 am in Clauser Funeral Home, 116 N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, with a viewing beginning on Tuesday at 10 am. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. www.clauserfh.com
