

Monika M. Shott, of Richland, PA, entered into Eternal Life on May 7, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born April 21, 1942, in Berlin, Germany, she came to the US in 1960 and earned US citizenship. She always exhibited her German pride, work ethic and zest for life. A woman of many attributes, she was strong, determined, resilient, and for those who knew her, she possessed a heart of pure gold. She enjoyed antiquing, flee markets and bargain hunting. Committed to her family and friends, there was not a sacrifice she was not willing to make for those she loved. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Casey R. Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Shott and can now spend eternity with her soul mate. She is survived by son, James W. Cooper, husband of Jody L. Cooper and her best buddy and pal, grandson, Casey R. Cooper all of Elizabethtown; son, Freddie Cooper and grandson, Carmen Cooper of Maine. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, PA, with a visitation beginning on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
