Richard E Weaver

Richard E. Weaver, 92, of Robesonia, passed away on Wednesday, December 21st, 2016 at home. He was born on March 31st, 1924 in Stouchburg, PA, a son of the late Albert I. and Margie Miller Weaver. Richard was the husband of the late Marie A. Wenger Weaver and the late Sarah Jane Weaver. Mr. Weaver was retired from the Conrail/ Reading Railroad where he was an electrician for 38 years. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Union; Life member of the NRA and Grace U.C.C. Church, Richland. Surviving are his sons: Dr. Richard E. Weaver, Lebanon and David E, husband of Colleen Weaver, Lancaster; daughters: Sylvia Marie, wife of Douglas Heagy, Kleinfeltersville and Nancy K, wife of Delmar Zartman, Schaefferstown; step son: Barry, husband of Connie Bertolett, Wilmington, N.C; grandsons: Burt and Michael Wolgemuth; Derek and Colby Zartman; Adam Weaver; granddaughter: Erin Devlin; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother: Albert Weaver of Franklin, W.V. Richard was predeceased by a brother, Orris Weaver. A funeral service will be held in the Grace U.C.C. church 22 Church St, Richland, PA, 17087 on Tuesday, December 27th, 2016 at 11:00AM with a viewing from 10:00AM until the time of the service.
