Ronald C. Morgan

Ronald C. Morgan, 81, of Myerstown, passed away on Sunday, July 12th, 2015 In the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on December 14th, 1933 in Hegins, a son of the late Burton “Bushey” and Oneida Klouser Morgan. Ronald was the husband of Evelyn L. Keller Morgan to whom he married July 2nd, 1955 and celebrated 60 wonderful years together. Mr. Morgan was employed for 60 years of Heavy Construction from East to West Coast. He was a member of the Operating Engineers with Local 542 Philadelphia; 309 HC Price / 13 years Alaskan Pipeline; Local 542 Bernville and retired in 1995. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post # 6076, Myerstown; three Fire Companies: Kutztown, Goodwill, Keystone and Tulpehocken U.C.C. church. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: James R, husband of Maureen Morgan, Freeland MD: two daughters: Diane M. Gibble, wife of Troy Tranquillo, Bernville and Laurie A. Morgan of Adamstown; seven grandchildren: Benjamin M, husband of Tara Gibble; Jessica Morgan; Hanna Morgan; Jazmin Derr; Liza Morgan; Maia Morgan and Caylee Morgan; two great grandchildren: Morgan and Sadie Gibble; two brothers: Gerald and Larry Morgan; two sisters: Rita Morgan and Shirley Groff; several nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by three brothers: Charles, Robert, Jack Morgan and a sister: Carolyn Morgan. A funeral service will be held in Tulpehocken U.C.C., 961 Tulpehocken Rd., Richland, PA, 17087 on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 at 10:30AM with a viewing from 9:00AM until the time of the service. There will be an evening viewing at the church on Friday, July 17th, 2015 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made payable to the Carl “Gib” Gibble Scholarship Fund and sent to Clauser Funeral Home Inc., 120 North Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown PA, 17088.
