Born on April 27th 1960 in Lebanon, Pa. She was the daughter of Helen B. Patches (Bartal, Laucks) of Myerstown and the late Herman Laucks.
Susie was a student of ELCO High School. She was Employed by Management Resource Group, LLC of Birmingham AL.
She is survived by her daughter Brandy (Laucks) Haffly, wife of Thomas W Haffly of Myerstown, PA, Grandchildren Ashton Laucks and Tyler Haffly, step grandchildren Thomas A. Haffly and Kathleen Haffly, sisters Deborah Hess (husband, Thomas Hess) of Newmanstown, PA and Judy Campodonico of Birmingham AL, brothers Gary Laucks of Robesonia, PA and Donald Laucks (wife, Doris) of Myerstown, PA.
Susie enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing and golfing. She also enjoyed competitive sports and played women’s softball and more recently played on a pool league. Susie was a fiercely loyal and loving person who made friends easily. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She would often be found at family functions doting on all of the babies and children.
Services will be held on April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at Elias United Church of Christ in Newmanstown, Pa followed by fellowship.
Susie requested that everyone should get together and celebrate life in her honor. A Celebration of Life party will be held at the VFW Post 6076 in Myerstown, PA on April 26th at 6:00 PM. Anyone who would like to attend is welcomed.
