Victor Paul Brubacker

Victor P. Brubacker, 84, peacefully went to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at StoneRidge, Myerstown, PA. His wife of 59 years Rebecca H. (Martin) was by his side. Born November 5, 1931, near Richland, PA, he was a son of the late Noah and Hulda (Burke) Brubacker. Victor was retired from Harrisburg State Hospital. He was a licensed ham radio operator, enjoyed bird watching, reading the Bible, and was a member of Harmony Christian Fellowship. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Victor, husband of Rosalie (Ramos), Lititz; Jesse, husband of Rosanna (Martin), Rehrersburg; Ray, husband of Michelle (Barham), Sebastian, FL; David, husband of Karen (Zook), Richland; and daughter Rose, wife of Richard Hoover, Martinsburg; 10 grandchildren; half brother Donald Reed, Panama City, Panama; half sister Annary Sedivy, Spirit Lake, Iowa. He was preceded in death by half brother James Reed and sister Matilda Scott. His funeral will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10 AM at Harmony Christian Fellowship, 30 Camp Swatara Road, Myerstown, PA, with David Burkholder and Leonard Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held at Harmony Christian Fellowship, Wednesday from 6 – 8 PM. Kindly omit flowers.
