William Jay Dieffenbach

William Jay Dieffenbach, 11, of Womelsdorf, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Hospice and Community Care Center, Mt. Joy, PA. He was born in Lebanon on December 7, 2004, son of Nevin J. and Rebecca L. Derstine Dieffenbach. He was a student at Bethel Elementary School and attended the Myerstown Baptist Church. William enjoyed riding his dirt bike, go-cart and playing with his remote control cars. He was a member of the Tulpehocken Baseball Little League and loved his younger brothers and baby sister. Surviving in addition to his parents are brothers, Lewis Grant Dieffenbach, Bryce Henry Dieffenbach and sister, Stella Grace Dieffenbach; maternal grandparents, Janet and Russell Derstine of Lebanon; paternal grandparents, Elam and Lois Dieffenbach of Womelsdorf; paternal great grandparents, Charles and Laura Martin of Frystown; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 1 PM in New Beginnings Grace Brethren Church, 430 East Lincoln Ave., Myerstown, PA. NO VIEWING. Interment will be made in the Millbach Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 4 Diamonds Fund, 90 Hope Drive, PO Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033.
