Dana Appleford

Dana was an active member of South Shore Day Hab for many years. He enjoyed going horseback riding at the Bridge Center and attending musicals at The Company Theater. He happily worked on independent living skills at home and in the community with his caretaker. He loved his back massages at his local spa. Dana had fun at family parties and on many day trips and vacations over the years. He was a child of God and touched the lives of so many. Dana will be sadly missed and always remembered.

Dana was the son of the late Gordon and Edith Appleford. He is the loving brother of Donna Vecchione of Mansfield, Patricia Fitzpatrick of Hull and Gary Appleford of N. Carolina. He is also survived by his devoted caretaker of 32 yrs, Denise Aronson of Hull, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family are invited to memorial visitation on Saturday, Feb. 1st at 1PM followed by a memorial service at 2PM in the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate.
