David J. Leaman, 75, of Scituate, passed away August 5, 2014. David was the loving husband of 30 years to Joan Lotti Leaman. David was a member of the Quincy Elks and Widows Walk Golf League in Scituate. He was the former owner of Leaman & Sons Painting Contractor. David is survived by children, Michael of Kingston, Scott of Plymouth, Kirk of Whitman, Kimberly McMahon of Halifax; and his stepchildren, Joan Marie Pinkham, Kimberly Dami, both of Scituate, and Robin Fassnacht of Duxbury. He was the brother of Evelyn Burgess and James Stewart, both of Braintree, Ronald Leaman of Quincy and Geraldine Kelly and Arlene Flemming, both of Fla. Also survived by 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., Scituate, Saturday. Aug. 9, at 10 a.m., followed a funeral service at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Cudworth Veterans Cemetery, Scituate, at a later date.
