David McHugh

McHugh, David James “DJ”- Age 77, of Scituate, passed away on May 19, 2017. Born in Boston he was son of the late Patrick and Lillian McHugh. Beloved Husband of Susan J. (Martin) McHugh with whom he shared 19 years of marriage.

Devoted father of David Jr. and his wife Judy of North Attelboro, Brian and his wife Jennifer of North Attelboro, Bernadette McHugh of Norton, Patrick and his wife Angela of Richmond, Virginia, Nycole Macedo of Brighton, Ma; cherished grandfather to Michael, Steven, John “Jack” McHugh and Emily McHugh; siblings William of Maryland, Daniel of Scituate, Madonna of Arizona, Rosemary of North Carolina, Francis of Florida and Kevin of West Boylston. He was predeceased by siblings Theresa, Mary, Patrick, Richard, John, Gerald, Annemarie, Joseph and Marguerite.

Dave will be remembered for his quick wit, his story telling, twinkle in his eye and his devilish smile. Dave owned his own cooling tower business, Northeast Tower Maintenance for 20 years. Dave and Sue owned D.J. McHugh’s Family Seafood Restaurant in Marshfield for 10 years. Dave was the captain of the FV Michelle.
