Deborah "Debbie" Brennan, December 23 1959-November 20 2025, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and many beloved friends. Deborah bravely battled cancer for 13 months before the Lord called her home.
Debbie, a lifelong resident of Scituate Massachusetts, attended Scituate High School and Boston State College. As a young woman she was an avid, talented figure skater. A point of pride for Debbie was she was always as tough as and kept up with her three brothers. She made her career in the hospitality industry and started her own house cleaning company. Her customers and clients developed such a trust in Debbie's hard work and character, many became like family. She was very loyal to her clients, some for over 30 years. Her Pier 44 and Bridgewaye co-workers have become an extension of family.
Debbie is survived by her three children and three grandchildren, Kristen Brennan, Kevin Brennan, Robert Brennan and wife Brandi Brennan, Brooke Madelyn Brennan, Ella Marie Brennan, Collin Christopher Brennan. She is also survived by two loving brothers, John Brennan, Ed Brennan, wife Lisa Brennan and beloved niece Aubrey Brennan. She also has many dear cousins, uncles and aunts in England and overseas. Debbie made many beautiful memories in her travels to see family. She is preceded in death by adoring parents Edward & Elizabeth "Alice" Brennan and brother Christopher Joseph.
When Debbie wasn't working as a single mother to support her three children, being a caregiver for her parents and clients, or her favorite job of being a Grandma, you might have been able to find her on the golf course. As much as she loved to work on her golf game, she was just as interested to see where to have lunch after the round. An incredible cook and foodie, Debbie enjoyed the finest bites that life had to offer. No gathering will be the same without her delicious appetizers and spread.
The entire Brennan family would like to extend their gratitude to the Oncology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Plymouth. Particularly Doctor Koomey and his most caring team of nurses and staff. Debbie was always greeted with the most care and kindness while facing her treatments.
A visitation for Deborah will be held from 3:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, Massachusetts 02066. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Saint Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor, Massachusetts 02066. All friends are welcome to join the family at The Saint Mary's Parish Center following mass. All are encouraged to wear bright, happy colors per Debbie's wishes.
