

MULLIN, Edward J. (Moon) – 82 of Scituate, MA and Cape Coral, FL, passed away on May 13, 2025, at home with his children by his side. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 43 years, Judy (Settino) who passed of ALS in 2008.
He is survived by his four children, Michael (Ang) of Quincy, MA, Julie M. (Jonathan Smith) of Quincy, MA, Victoria E. (Eugene Gorelik) of London, England and Matthew (Brooke) of San Francisco, CA.
Devoted grandfather of Cassidy, Caeden, Carsten, Savannah, Kingston, Ethan, Harrison, Myles and Madeleine.
Ed enjoyed a successful 38-year tenure at Christmas Tree Shops, where he served as the director of administration and finance. His responsibilities included ensuring the company transitioned from a modest gift shop in Cape Cod to a prominent multistate retailer. Among his duties, he found the greatest joy in opening new stores and designing their distinctive architecture. Notable projects included the Sagamore, MA location, featuring the world's largest thatched roof and windmill, and the award-winning retail facade in Hyannis, MA.
After becoming a widower, Ed discovered joy, solace, and support through his companion Claudia.
Despite his professional achievements, his most cherished role was that of a husband, father, and grandfather.
Family and friends are cordially invited to visit the family during the hours of 2:00 - 6:00 PM on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, located at 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, MA. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate, MA, with interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Meeting House Lane, Scituate, MA.
