Elinor J. Fitzpatrick

Elinor J. (Hill) Fitzpatrick – 91, longtime resident of Scituate, passed away on June 14, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Fitzpatrick, with whom she shared 17 years of marriage before his passing in 1989.

Born in Brighton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Pierce and Lillian (Hoy) Hill. She bought her house in Scituate in 1969. She was a manager for Hingham Institution for Savings for many years before working at the GMF postal facility for 10 years, from where she retired in 1995.

Devoted mother of Karen Satterlee, Lynne Luster, Brian Bradley, and John Bradley Jr. and his wife Deborah, all of Scituate.

Cherished grandmother to Jennifer, Jessica, Franklin (Cassie), Daryl, Kerrie, Larry, Renee, Justin, Lilly, Sarah (Brian), John (Julie), Robbie (Jenn) and Liz. Also survived by nieces, Claire and Gail, and nephews Jackie, Robert and Paul.

Loving sister to the late Lillian Donohue.

Also survived by her twelve great grandchildren, Ella, Elvis, Dez, Christian, Liam, Tayla, Anothy, Alex, Dylan, Celia, Ronan, Rayn and Katherine.

A visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. Funeral Mass at 10am on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor. Interment to follow at Cudworth Cemetery, Cudworth Road, Scituate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
