Francesca Marie Berry

Francesca Marie (Ball) Berry - 92, Of Scituate, Passed away on February 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Thomas Jenner Berry Jr., with whom he shared 62 years of marriage before his passing in 2016.

Born in Brookline, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Harrington) Ball. Nancy as everyone got to know her as, attended Brookline High School and was voted most athletic two years in a row. She followed her then boyfriend Thomas to Springfield College for four years. They married and adopted three children, moved to Easton, and built hundreds of friendships with a lot of people. Mom got into committees and plays and was a trustee at Massasoit for three years. She loved to travel, ski, and in my opinion (and many others) was a phenomenal cook! She loved her grandkids to pieces and kept in touch with her first daughter-in-law Pat!

Visiting hours will take place at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, on Thursday, March 13th from 3 to 7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 14th at 10am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Burial immediately following at Groveland Cemetery.
