Born in Boston, Helen was the daughter of the late Augustus and Ellen (Shields) Boudrot. She grew up in Milton and attended the Katherine Gibbs School. After graduating, Helen worked for several Boston companies as a secretary/executive assistant including her “favorite job” at the Copley Plaza Hotel, where her wedding reception was held. When she and Bob settled in Scituate to start a family, Helen continued using her secretarial skills in various local jobs and volunteered for many organizations while raising her 5 children. Ultimately, she retired from working at Home and Health Resources of the South Shore VNA to help care for her grandchildren. Helen was a cherished “Grammy” to her 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She absolutely adored being a mother and grandmother and loved babies most of all!
Helen was the sweetest, kindest, and most supportive wife, mom, and grandmother to her beloved family. She was a wonderful listener who offered quiet wisdom and thoughtful guidance to her growing family. She faced life’s challenges with grace and compassion, and her devotion to her family and friends will be cherished beyond measure.
