Janet Tinch Tinch Chipman

CHIPMAN, Janet T. (Tinch) – 57, Of Marshfield formerly of Scituate passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2015, embraced by her 4 children. Beloved wife of 18 years to the late Wendell A. Chipman.

Devoted Mom & Nannie to: Jebidiah J. Chipman, his wife Jennifer Chipman, their daughters, Katalina Marie and Adalynn Rose of Abington, Zachary Eben Chipman, Wendell Raymond Chipman and Victoria Rachael Chipman all of Marshfield. Loving sister of Peter M. Tinch of Arlington and John R. Tinch Jr. of Halifax.

Born at South Shore Hospital she was the daughter of the late John R. Tinch Sr. and MaryEllen M. Tinch

Dedicated nurse, avid reader, and mother to so many, she enjoyed spending time cooking and entertaining with family and friends. She was a long time member of a local book club and a true patriots fan. She always found time to travel to the family home in Nova Scotia, where a piece of her will always be found.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, March 6th at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate from 4PM to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7th at the First Baptist Church, 660 Country Way, Scituate at 11AM. Burial will be private.
